The National Meat Institute of Uruguay (INAC) has advanced its commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility by announcing that the country is ready to export meat and other products of agricultural origin certified as “deforestation free” to the European Union (EU).

About As Ecuador's official negotiating party to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), the Ministry of Environment, Water and Ecological Transition has access to the organization of the official Ecuadorian pavilion in the negotiating area (blue) of COP29. Through a multi-level collaboration agreement with the CC35 Capital Cities Secretariat for COP28, COP29, COP30 and COP31 the goal was established to build a pavilion that can be the platform for all the voices of the planet to reach with the participation of multiple actors. Ecuador's clear leadership in climate and biodiversity allows it to become the host of the route to COP30 in Belem. The pavilion is located in the blue zone and brings together leading Ecuadorian companies from the energy, financial, industrial and other sectors. NGOs and representatives of indigenous communities will have their space. Global decision-makers and key opinion leaders from around the world can foster new partnerships and engage in dialogue around public-private climate action to accelerate the ecological transition. We will inform you about the practicalities, Ecuadorian policy work and opportunities to interact with companies, authorities, organizations and journalists who will be participating or are interested in COP29.
Important Information Time: The Azerbaijan will host the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the UNFCCC (United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change) from November 11 to November 22, 2023. The One-Planet Pavilion: The Ecuadorian pavilion will be located in the blue zone. Companies, Local Governments, NGOs and Ecuadorian Authorities will be present in the pavilion, organize events and interact with international partners. The COP29 Presidency has provided to deliver a process that is transparent, impartial and inclusive, the COP29 Presidency has developed a plan based on two mutually reinforcing pillars to enhance ambition and enable action. The high-level days will be from 11 to 12 November. The official day of rest will be November 17. Chair: The Head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Samir Nuriyev, was appointed as the Chairman of the Organising Committee. Participation: COP29 will be a global event attended by more than 50,000 delegates, including 100 Heads of State and Government, and more than 5,000 media professionals Venue and accommodation: Baku Stadium will host COP29. Accreditations: Accreditation is only available to national government officials, local government officials, high-ranking officials of companies or organizations acting as sponsors and special guests.
